About This Spot

Walking into Sportsmans Club is like stepping into a cherished piece of Kingman’s history, where time slows just enough to savor the simple pleasures of a neighborhood bar. There’s a quiet warmth in the air, an inviting mix of lived-in comfort and easy camaraderie. This isn’t a place chasing the latest trends—it’s a steadfast anchor on Route 66, rich with stories and familiar faces that make every visit feel like coming home.

The atmosphere hums with a welcoming, unhurried energy. Whether you’re settling in for a game of pool, challenging a friend to darts, or simply soaking in the low-key vibes from the barstool, the pace encourages connection—between patrons, with the friendly staff, and with the space itself. Classic rock or live music might thread through the background, mixing seamlessly with conversations and the quiet clink of glasses.

Drinks here are straightforward but satisfying, poured with a thoughtful nod to tradition. Whether you’re enjoying an ice cold Bud Light, a carefully crafted Old Fashioned, or a Bloody Mary that seems tailor-made for those Sunday mornings, each sip complements the comfortable, unpretentious mood. The television screens quiet the chatter when rodeo or football games roll on, giving the place a communal pulse that draws both locals and travelers alike.

The real draw, beyond the menu, lies in the human moments and the sense of continuity. Longtime bartenders share stories and offer a warm welcome that goes beyond good service, making newcomers feel like part of something enduring. This is a spot where the past lingers beautifully, yet never at the expense of present-day friendliness and genuine care.

For anyone passing through Kingman, Sportsmans Club is more than just a stop for a drink—it’s a reminder of the deep, quiet pleasures that come from good company, a well-loved room, and the simple pleasure of a shared moment on historic Route 66.

Oldest continuous bar on Route 66. Kind folks and strong drinks at a great price, rodeo and football on the tvs and live music - perfection for this traveler.

Lot of history here - kinda divey but I like that. Karen was fantastic - warm & great conversation. Made me feel really welcome. Hope I make it by again soon, would love to stop in again.

My husband and I recently went here on a Saturday morning after going to the Farmer's Market. We were very fortunate that Tammy (Tami?) was bartending as she made the best Bloody Mary I've had in a very long while. She said that they don't always add all the fixings to the drink, but she was that morning. I've attached a picture so you can see how amazing it looked. It tasted as good as it looked, too. Later we asked if she made Mojitos, and she said she did. She went to the garden they had outside and was not pleased with the condition of the mint, so she had her daughter bring fresh mint from her own garden just for us! Wow! It was refreshing and delicious. We had a great experience.

Dive bar with pool tables, darts & old school shuffle. Tami and Staci are great mixologists. No food here.
